12 Reasons Why Jesus is NOT God His Father

Differences between God and His Son and reasons they are NOT co-equal, co-eternal and co-immortal (which one could DIE for you if they were CO-IMMORTAL??? See 1 Timothy 1:17:

Reasons WHY the Son of God is NOT His own Father and His own God:

1) Does the Son of God have a Father AND God? YES!
"I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God" John 20:17.

2) Jesus was circumcised when He was 8 days old! Was God the Father getting circumcised or the Son of God? 21 "And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb" Luke 2:21 (KJV).

3) God the Father does NOT have nail scarred hands, feet and side like His Son who is also a God (same DNA as His Father) does: "Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing" John 20:27.

4) God commanded us to honor the Son as we honor the Father: "That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him" John 5:23. "No one who denies the Son can have the Father; whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well" 1 John 2:23.

5) God commands angel's to worship his Son: "And again, when he bringeth in the first-begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him" Hebrews 1:6.

6) God GAVE His Son authority and LIFE: "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he GIVEN to the Son to have life in himself" John 5:26.

7) God the Father is greater than His Son in age: "my Father is greater than I" John 14:28. "And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." 1 Corinthians 15:28 (KJV). "Then the end will come, when he (Jesus) hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he (Jesus) has destroyed all dominion, authority and power." King James Version (KJV) "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." Amplified Bible (AMP) "After that comes the end (the completion), when He (Jesus) delivers over the kingdom to God the Father after rendering inoperative and abolishing every [other] rule and every authority and power" 1 Corinthians 15:24.

8) God talking to His Son: "But unto the Son he (God the Father) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom" Hebrews 1:8.

9) Many gods, but only ONE GOD and ONE LORD called "GOD" as well, as it's the FAMILY of GOD NAME. I'm so GLAD I'm a part of the FAMILY OF GOD, (remember that song?): "5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him" 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 (KJV).

10) Bible texts that state there are TWO BEINGS that are God:
1) "He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath BOTH the Father and the Son." 2 John 1:9

"If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated BOTH me and my Father" John 15:24.

"Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them BOTH" Zechariah 6:13.

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" John 14:23. Notice this verse only mentions two beings.

"And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it" Revelation 21:22 (KJV).

"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof" Revelation 21:23 (KJV).

"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb" Revelation 22:1(KJV).

"And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him" Revelation 22:3 (KJV).

"Christ and the Father covenanted together; and Lucifer, the covering cherub, grew jealous because he was not admitted into the eternal councils of the Two who sat upon the throne" The Story of the Seer of Patmos, p. 217.2 (Protestant early SDA pioneer Stephen N. Haskell). https://sites.google.com/site/howtoperformmiracles/repeat

"It may be objected, If the Father and the Son are TWO DISTINCT BEINGS, do you not, in worshipping the Son and calling him God, break the first commandment of the decalogue? "No; it is the Father's will 'That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.' We cannot break the commandment and dishonor God by obeying him. The Fathers says of the Son, 'Let all the angels of God worship him.' Should angels refuse to worship the Son, they would rebel against the Father. Children inherit the name of their Father. The Son of God 'hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than' the angels. That name is the name of his Father. The Father says to the Son, 'Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever.' Heb.1. The Son is called 'The mighty God.' Isa. 9:6. And when he comes again to earth his waiting people will exclaim, 'This is our God.' Isa. 25:9. It is the will of the Father that we should thus honor the Son. In doing so we render supreme honor to the Father. If we dishonor the Son, we dishonor the Father; for he requires us to honor his son. "But though the Son is called God yet there is a 'God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ' 1Pet. 1:3. Though the Father says to the Son, 'Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever,' yet, that throne is given him of his Father; and because he loved righteousness and hated iniquity, he further says, 'Therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee.' Heb. 1:9. 'God hath made that same Jesus both Lord and Christ.' Acts. 2:36. The Son is 'the everlasting Father,' not of himself, nor of his Father, but of his children. His language is, 'I and the children which God hath given me.' Heb. 2:13." Cottrell, Review and Herald, June 1, 1869. https://sites.google.com/…/rf-cottrel-roswell-fenner-cottre…

11) "But this I confess unto thee, that after the WAY ("Thy Way, O God, is in the SANCTUARY" Psalm 77:13) which they call HERESY, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets" Acts 24:14 (KJV).

12) "Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen" 1 Timothy 1:17.
